Based in New York City, I am a photographer who specializes in documenting endangered cultures and traditional life ways of Asia, Latin America and Africa. I am passionate about documentary-travel photography and I produce multimedia stories, merging still photography and ambient sound and musical soundtracks.

I teach street photography and multimedia storytelling, and lead photo-expeditions/workshops to South & South-East Asia. The style I adopt in my work is a mix of travel and documentary photography. Many  call it "a photojournalist photographing travel." I am the founder of the popular "The Travel Photographer" blog.
